Interview with Giggles Toots:

~Tell us a little bit about yourself.~

When my children were small, I loved to make clothes or Halloween costumes for them. I enjoyed cross stitch and needlepoint.  During their nap time, I would work on a Christmas stocking or a sampler.

When my three were ready to begin school,  I went back to teaching,  a profession I truly loved . My spare time was devoted to lesson plans, as well as, taking care of my busy family.  There just didn’t seem to be enough time to do crafts.

Recently my life has changed - I retired and was blessed with two adorable grandchildren.  And I started sewing for the little ones!    

~What inspired you to start your shop Giggles and toots?~

After some encouragement from my daughter - the creative and talented Kendra of "Layla Lou Studio" - I opened my little shop.

~What is your all-time favorite item currently in your shop? ~

For me custom orders are my favorite items in my store.  I love designing and making a pillow to match a theme or color scheme.  The same idea applies to my shoe/lingerie bags. When I receive an email for a special bag,  I enjoy the challenge of finding the right fabric or pattern.

~Do you have a favorite quote or saying?~

A quote that fits my life today:  "Everything you always wanted, you already have."

 ~My Review~

 

If you look above, this is the item I received from Giggles and Toots to review. It is a personalized Shoe and Lingerie Bag.  Patricia, the creator and owner of the Etsy shop Giggles and Toots, did a wonderful job! The bag is very well made and can be used for virtually 

anything. For instance, I currently have all my make-up stashed inside and I still have plenty of room to add more.  I'm thinking of having a few of these made up to use as gift bags for Christmas gifts. That way the can be reused!
