~Tell us a little bit about yourself, Lupe.~

I live in West Texas, a mother of 2 children. My daughter now lives in Atlanta, GA and my son is still in college in Norman, OK. I work with my husband full time, but love to sew and do crafts in my spare time.

~What inspired you to open your shop ?~

My daughter whose name is also Katie inspired me to open my etsy store. I've been making quilts and stockings along with many other items for a long time. My daughter has two etsy stores and she really wanted me to share my crafts with others.

~Random Question: What is your favorite color?~

Oooo, I'd have to say my favorite color is easy...TURQUOISE!

Whimsical Doodle is one uniques shop! They have designed stockings for Martha Stewart AND Paula Deen. With Christmas coming I really wanted to feature them here on The Romantic Type.

The above stocking is the one that they actually made for Martha Stewart. I love the toes on it...don't you?! I love different and unique so when I saw their stockings I knew that they were right up my alley!

Although I like many of the stockings featured on Whimsical Doodle, the Paula Dean one is my #1 Favorite. The blue and the pink look awesome together and I love how they incorporated the pictures into it.

Frito-Lay Review

About Frito-Lay

I was so happy to become a Frito-Lay fan because I LOVE chips and Frito-Lay is my favorite brand! After joining, I received an email from a Frito-Lay rep asking me if I could review them on my blog. Of coarse I had to!

Original Sun Chips:

I always get the Cheddar Sun Chips so I was happy to actually try the Original flavor. Yummy! They had a wonderful taste and they come in the "The Worlds First 100% Compostable Chip Package".

Tostitos Scoops:

Tostitos Scoops tortilla chips are always a staple in my home and the taste great with some salsa. In fact, with the coupon that they gave me I went and bought some salsa to pair with my tortilla chips.

Lays Lightly Salted Potato Chips:

I actually really liked these! With 50% less sodium you can actually taste the chip itself and not just the salt. These are especially good with the Lays Ranch Dip.
